 The Ecofix Foundation in Domestic Appliance Repair is a hybrid course combining flexible e-learning with a 4-day, hands-on workshop at our Aberdare training centre. Learners first build essential knowledge in safety, appliance operation and basic diagnostics online, before applying it in a practical setting to develop safe testing, fault-finding and repair skills. This blended approach ensures both confidence and real-world competence from day one. 

Our Appliance Installation Course combines flexible e-learning with a practical, in-person training day at our Aberdare centre. Learners first complete the online element to build knowledge in safety, installation principles and best practice, before applying it in a hands-on setting to develop the confidence and skills needed to carry out domestic appliance installations safely and professionally. 

 The Retail Appliance Sales Essentials course is a flexible e-learning programme designed to give new starters the confidence and knowledge to sell appliances effectively from day one. Covering key areas such as appliance types, energy efficiency, installation requirements, running costs and common customer questions, the course equips retail teams with the practical understanding needed to give clear, accurate advice and build customer trust — helping to reduce returns and improve overall sales performance. 

 The Smarter Appliance Use course is a practical half-day, in-person session designed to help homeowners and tenants get the most from their appliances. Covering safe use, basic electrical awareness, simple maintenance checks, energy efficiency and when to report faults, the course helps learners reduce risks such as electrical hazards and fire, while also lowering energy bills, preventing avoidable breakdowns and extending the lifespan of appliances in their home — supporting both household safety and a more sustainable way of living.
